Rich cold water resources have given birth to Dongjiang Big Data Industrial Park, the most energy-saving and environmental friendly green data valley in the country. In June 2016, the first big data center of Dongjiang Big Data Industrial Park was completed and put into operation. In the past three years, the pue value of the center (the total equipment energy consumption / IT equipment energy consumption of the data center, the closer the pue value is to 1, the lower the energy consumption) has been kept between 1.05 and 1.16, and the energy consumption and operation cost have been reduced by about 40 percent, becoming the most energy-saving big data center in China.

Up to now, more than 30 companies (units) in the park, such as Huawei, Taobao, Netsu Technology, China Telecom, Eisoo, E-government Disaster Recovery in Hunan Province, Hunan Geographic Information, Bank of Changsha, ZTE, have settled in or signed contracts with a total investment of 22 billion yuan.
